Acute Toxicity Database
Database summarising the results from aquatic acute toxicity tests conducted by the US Geological Survey, as a starting point for hazard assessment of contaminants. The database is searchable by species or chemical, or a combination of the two. Also includes two datasets - of chemical IDs and of Acute Toxicity Test Results - which can be merged to provide a complete dataset with all toxicity tests, species, and chemical information.

     Subjects: marine science, toxicology
     DeweyClass: 551.4
     Resource type: reference data
BIDS EMBASE Service
Provides access to the Excerpta Medica database, renowned for its international coverage of drug related research literature. EMBASE covers all aspects of human medicine and related biomedical research, including comprehensive information on drugs and toxicology, clinical medicine, biotechnology and bioengineering, health affairs, psychiatry and forensic medicine. BIDS EMBASE includes more than five million records, with data from 3500 biomedical journals published in 110 countries, dating back to 1980. Subscription required.
