Commission for Racial Equality
An independent UK organisation that exists to tackle racial discrimination and promote racial equality. It works to encourage fair treatment and to promote equal opportunities for everyone, regardless of their race, colour, nationality, or national or ethnic origin, and provides information and advice to people who think they have suffered racial discrimination or harassment. European Centre for Minority Issues
A non-partisan, bi-national institution founded in 1996 by the governments of Denmark and Germany. ECMI´s aim is to promote interdisciplinary research on minority-majority relations with Europe, and to contribute to the improvement of inter-ethnic relations in those parts of Western and Eastern Europe where ethnopolitical tension and conflict prevail.
