Cassini Mission to Saturn
Information about the Cassini mission to Saturn launched in October 1997 and due to report back in 2004. The mission is named after the seventeenth century, French-Italian astronomer Jean Dominique Cassini, who discovered the prominent gap in Saturn's main rings and the moons Iapetus, Rhea, Dione and Tethys.

Magellan Mission to Venus
Offers images of Venus taken by the Magellan spacecraft which plunged into the planet's dense atmosphere on October 11, 1994. During its four years in orbit around Venus, Magellan radar-mapped 98 percent of the surface and collected high-resolution gravity data of Venus.
