Dedicated to re-examining, recovering and restoring the work of composers whose careers and music were suppressed by totalitarian regimes and later neglected. The ICSM seeks to create an archive of manuscripts, scores, interviews with surviving composers, musicians and other documents showing how artists tackled both their musical and political challenges. Offers a free online journal, listings of events, and a mailing list.
