ABZU: A guide to information related to the study of the Ancient Near East on the Web
Extensive directory covering many aspects of Ancient Near East Studies divided into two types of index. The primary indexes present an alphabetical list by project name and author. The secondary indexes are wider in scope and cover directories, libraries and museums, publishers, maps and atlases.

Eastern Art - Creswell Photographic Archive
The unique negative collection of Professor K.A.C. Creswell, eminent pioneer of medieval Islamic architectural history. Among the photographs are many of those used to illustrate the two publications which remain the basic research tools for scholars of medieval Islamic architecture: Creswell's Early Muslim Architecture, and Muslim Architecture of Egypt. Iraq: The Cradle of Civilization at Risk
As a consequence of extensive political upheaval and military conflict in the region, there has been great consternation about the future of antiquities and archaeological expeditions within Iraq. This resource offers an assemblage of materials gleaned from discussion boards and scholarly resources to inform users of the breadth and importance of the material reminders of those ancient civilizations located within Iraq's borders. The collection is divided into five sections, including a compilation of recent articles and documents relating to the protection of cultural property and details of ongoing archaeological projects within the country.
