ASTER: Advanced Spaceborne Thermal Emission and Reflection Radiometer
ASTER is an imaging instrument on EOS AM-1, a satellite launched in 1998 as part of NASA's Earth Observing System (EOS). ASTER will be used to obtain detailed maps of surface temperature, emissivity, and reflectance elevation.

IAVCEI: International Association of Volcanology and Chemistry of the Earth's Interior
