CACAO Project: History of Europe: Funded by the European Commission, the CACAO project has created subject portals offering multilingual search capabilities, with access to subject-specific catalogues and online libraries. The portal can currently be viewed in English, French, German, Italian, Hungarian and Polish. The digital library allows the browsing of topics on the history of Europe via books, manuscripts, journals, prints, databases, microform, CD-ROMs, images and digital materials.

ECLAS: European Commission Libraries Catalogue: The ECLAS catalogue lists the holdings of ReseauBIB, a collaborative network associating the European Commission's Central Library, its Directorates-General and other departments. Focused on EU publications, it also includes publications of the UN, OECD and the World Bank. Records include journal articles, books, conference proceedings and Internet resources. Information is retrieved by basic or advanced searches and by language or document type. Collections largely in English, French and German. Searches can be conducted in English and French. The service is free but registration is required for extra features such as saving searches.

WEBIS: Sammelschwerpunkte an deutschen Bibliotheken: Library information system for supra-regional literature supplied by more than 40 German libraries. As well as providing access to most participating libraries' catalogues, their special collections are structured by WEBIS into subjects such as French language and literature, economics and physics, and regional collections covering the whole world. Books, journal articles and documents from these collections can be requested by international library loan.
