Links to terminological databases relating to the activities of United Nations agencies, as well as those of the European Commission (Eurodicautom) and the Council of the European Union (TIS), the Terminology Base of the International Council of French Language and a selection of dictionaries collected in the Portail lexical du francais, including the Tresor de la langue francaise and two synonym dictionaries, one of which is bilingual (English-Fench and vice-versa), as well as the Littre, the Grand dictionnaire terminologique (the latter bilingual also), Le Dictionnaire, Les Dictionnaires and LookWAYup, an English and multilingual translation dictionary.

Reference tool for linguists, translators and researchers in related disciplines. Offers searches of a range of websites (for example, Websters, MeidaDico, DiccionarioWeb) for synonyms, definitions, verb conjugations, translations and books related to any search term specified in English, Spanish or French. Mono and duo-lingual searches are available.

Termino Trads: Serendipity

A set of tools aimed at linguists, translators and related researchers, where pre-defined boolean logic enacted on Google searches restricts results to those derived from dictionary and other word books. Two levels of glossary search'can be selected for each language, one providing simple definitions and one that provides context and synonyms as well as direct translation. Languages covered are French, Spanish, Portuguese and English. Serendipity also offers the broader option of searching Google for any type of resource related to your search term.
