Searchable collection of tables of contents and abstracts taken from a selection of Cambridge University Press journals. An email alerting service is available upon registration, and full text articles can be freely accessed by institutions holding a subscription to paper based equivalents.

Institute of Physics Publishing Electronic Journals
Set of peer reviewed journals in the broad area of physics, with full text access available to members of subscribing institutions. Tables of contents and the full text of featured articles are freely available to all. The electronic journals offer full text with mathematics and graphics, and allow searching, browsing and printing. Some titles, eg Nanotechnology, offer multimedia features such as videos of molecular simulations.

Internet Library of Early Journals
This project aims to digitise substantial runs of 18th and 19th century journals, and make these images available on the Internet, together with their associated bibliographic data. Journals include Gentleman's Magazine, Notes and Queries and Blackwood's Edinburgh Magazine.

UK mirror of JSTOR service, which aims to build a reliable and comprehensive archive of important scholarly journal literature, to improve access to these journals, to help fill gaps in existing library collections of journal issues, to address preservation issues, reduce long-term costs to libraries, and to assist scholarly associations and publishers in making the transition to electronic modes of publication. Online journals are available in several subject areas, including Asian studies, ecology, economics, education, finance, history, mathematics, philosophy, political science, population studies, and sociology. ticTOCs: Journal Table of Contents Service
TicTOCs is a Table of Contents current awareness service, allowing free access to the latest research articles from over 12,700 journal titles, spanning the major academic disciplines. A search function enables searching by journal title, subject area and publisher, and the results list provides direct access to articles with brief summaries. For a large number of publications, the full-text can also be viewed. The personalised 'MyTOCs' service enables search results to be saved and RSS Feeds for alerts of selected titles.
