State of Food and Agriculture 2001
Regular FAO report, which asserts that many poor countries have seen their prospects for food security further improve because of their success in creating a policy environment conducive to sustained economic and agricultural growth. Although economic and food security problems remain serious in Africa, there are improvements in many areas, while a number of countries in Latin America and the Caribbean have seen a good performance of the agricultural sector.
