BBC History: Wars and Conflict: BBC resource offering essays, articles, multimedia resources, virtual tours of war trenches, battle animations, educational games, interactive exhibitions, picture galleries, timelines, and biographies of historic figures pertaining to war and conflict since the 10th century. Includes chapters on the Norman Conquest, the English Civil War, World War One, World War Two, the Cold War, and the Northern Ireland conflict. Also includes analysis and contextualisation of September 11th, the Iraq conflict, and various other topics. Within each chapter, users can browse material relating to a variety of war categories, each encompassing a plethora of resources and comprising numerous formats, as well as audiovisual materials culled from the BBC radio and television archive. Audiovisual materials require Real Player and interactive resources require Flash.

Victorian Times: Project providing access to over 1400 digitised documents relating to social conditions in Victorian Britain (1837-1901) These are mainly Parliamentary papers from the time, together with selections from the pamphlet collection of the London School of Economics. The collection comprises over 95,000 individual images, and is complemented by educational resources designed for users from primary school level, through to researchers and lifelong learners, allowing users to tailor the service to deliver material appropriate to their educational level.
