- BBC resource offering essays, articles, multimedia resources, virtual tours of war trenches, battle animations, educational games, interactive exhibitions, picture galleries, timelines, and biographies of historic figures pertaining to war and conflict since the 10th century. Includes chapters on the Norman Conquest, the English Civil War, World War One, World War Two, the Cold War, and the Northern Ireland conflict. Also includes analysis and contextualisation of September 11th, the Iraq conflict, and various other topics.
