Araldo de Luca: Photographic Archive of Works of Art
Over 70,000 images of historical objects, artefacts and art works mainly pertaining to antiquity and religion and mostly from Europe, North Africa and Central Asia. Taken by award-winning photographer Araldo de Luca during major photographic campaigns to document issues in those regions. Lightboxes can be created to store selected images and details of the objects and images are provided. Can be searched in Italian, Spanish or English.

Centre for the Study of Cartoons and Caricature

Origins of American Animation, 1900-1921
Collection of animated films created with several techniques, including clay, puppet, and pen drawings. Selections demonstrate the connections between newspaper comic strips and early animated films and also offer a glimpse into the social attitudes of the period. Available in RealPlayer, MPEG, and Quicktime formats, the films are searchable by keyword or browsable by title or subject.

Political Cartoons and Cartoonists
Traces the history of political cartoons in the US from the early nineteenth century onwards. Features samples of cartoons covering topics such as women's suffrage, the America First campaign of 1915, and Theodore Roosevelt as the personification of American imperialism.
