Documentary Photography: Jacob Riis
A computer assisted learning program to teach the analysis of documentary photograph. Although free to install AHDS have to be contacted for a serial number, without which installation will not be possible; contact details are provided for this. Once installed, the program uses images, text and hyperlinked glossaries, leading the user through the process of analysing documentary photography from first principles, using Jacob Riis's work as an example.

Explore the Unicorn Tapestries
Concentrates on collections at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York pertaining to the Unicorn Tapestries. Provides an opportunity to examine these medieval masterpieces by allowing users to magnify any section of any tapestry by selecting with the mouse, while providing both close-ups and extensive information about the tapestries. The resource is divided into themed sections to facilitate browsing. Other sections of the resource provide audio and video clips of Metropolitan Museum director Phillipe de Montebello and David Rockefeller, who recounts how his father acquired the tapestries and donated them to the Museum. Also contains information on how tapestries are woven, the sport of hunting in medieval times, and the Cloisters.
