Indoor Air Quality
Considers the health risks of indoor air pollution, which are often considerably greater than those outside, due to tightly sealed buildings, reduced ventilation rates to save energy, the use of synthetic building materials and furnishings, and the use of chemically formulated pesticides and household cleaners. Assesses air quality in offices, schools, and the home, and provides access to publications dealing with a number of pollutants such as carbon monoxide, radon, and tobacco smoke. Information is also available in Spanish.
